Product Review- Organix Macadamia Oil

Product: Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Dry Styling Oil

Promises: Smoothing macadamia oils blended with exotic bamboo extract create a decadent hydrating treat.  It's all you need for soft, smooth and seductive hair in one irresistible formula.

Directions: Massage Organix Macadamia Oil Dry Styling Oil between palms of hands and apply to clean, damp hair.  Style as desired.  Can also be applied to dry hair to moisturize split end and tame fly-a-ways.  Do not rinse.

Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimenthiconol, Cyclomethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Parfum, Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed oil, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Extract, Linum Usitatissimum (linseed) Seed Extract, CI 47000 (Yellow 11), CI 26100 (Red 17), Butyl Phenylmethyl Propional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool.

My Review: I must admit that I love this oil!  I have used this oil for over 2 years and I have never had a problem.  This oil is very light and definitely gives your hair a sheen without the heavy feeling.  I have not used the oil on damp hair so I'm not sure of the benefits of that process, but I have used the oil after styling and to seal in moisture after using a leave-in conditioner.  After using this product I also bought pure macadamia oil (used as a hot oil treatment and styling/sealing oil), which I like but it doesn't have the added benefits of the bamboo and sugar cane.  A comparison of the two oils may be in a future review.

P.S.  This oil has a new name "Hydrating Macadamia Oil Penetrating Oil" ; however, I'm not sure if the ingredients are different from the "Dry Styling Oil".  This bottle was apart of a big haul of Organix products bought over a year ago.
